The traffic situation at the A2 interchange at Hooggelegen is set to change in the coming summer months of 2010. This will be a summer of work on sound barriers and construction of main and parallel lanes on this stretch of the A2. In order to be able to cause the least inconvenience during these works, the traffic situation will be changed on a number of occasions this summer. Connecting roads from the Oudenrijn junction will as a result be closed regularly during the night and on weekends. Road users will be informed by means of yellow roadside signs. People are advised to heed the information provided by these signs.
The upgraded A2 ring road around Eindhoven, and part of this ring road is the Ekkersrijt junction, was officially opened on 8 June 2010.
Vialis installed unique regional traffic management system on N302
The province of Gelderland and the municipality of Harderwijk celebrated, in the presence of resigning Minister Camiel Eurlings, the opening of the new N302 on Saturday 5 June 2010. Vialis and Heijmans completed ‘project N302’ to the full satisfaction of the client one day earlier.
Utrecht province up-to-date with current traffic information from Vialis
Vialis delivered its Puvis-2 system to the province of Utrecht at the end of April 2010. This system will enable the province to collect, process and present traffic data better.
