Vialis

Vialis delivered its Puvis-2 system to the province of Utrecht at the end of April 2010. This system will enable the province to collect, process and present traffic data better.

The system Vialis completed for Utrecht is based on the service-driven software concept VIValdi, which creates a platform that different central traffic systems can run on. Apart from the traffic monitoring provided to Utrecht, the VIValdi platform can also serve as a platform for parking guidance, traffic management, lane signs, route and travel information, tunnel management, selective road closures, lighting management, and network optimisation.

The province of Utrecht commissioned Vialis to take care of the following:

1. Making the historic database available

2. Supplying continuous traffic data

3. Supplying periodical traffic data

4. Annual calculations of traffic data

5. Web application
